Freddy Fever came to St. Joan of Arc to grab some BIG spirit! The 2nd graders made fancy signs and prepared some songs and cheers to “Fire the Fever Up” for their Playoffs!

Tree Dedication
On All Saints Day, the 2nd graders were dressed as saints. We also celebrated the life of Charley Kirk at a Tree Dedication Ceremony. Charley Kirk, the father of 2nd grader, William and preschooler, George, died unexpectedly in September 2009. In memory of Charley Kirk, we planted a sugar maple tree next to the SJA playground, prepared some songs and poems, and invited the Kirk family and friends, as we unveiled the tree plaque. Fr. Guy Roberts blessed the tree and the Kirk Family.
